Metros made 19-of-25 charity shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. Juan Guerrero (203-1993) notched 24 points and 8 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) to lead the effort and naturalized American guard Omar Silverio (190-1998, college: WVU) supported him with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Five Metros players scored in double figures. Even 27 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists by guard Juan Suero (196-1993) did not help to save the game for Indios . Naturalized American point guard Eddy Polanco (193-1994, college: SE Louisiana, agency: Octagon Europe) added 25 points and 5 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
